Abstract

Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria are colonies of bacteria found in the rhizosphere of plants, which function to provide and mobilize nutrients, synthesize phytohormones, and control pathogens through the production of antimicrobial compounds. Community service activities through village development take the theme of training and practicum, making PGPR from bamboo roots. The activity aims to transform knowledge and skills for farmers to be able to utilize local resources. The activity took place in the Akor farmer group located in North Lendang Nangka village with a participatory learning and action approach. This village development activity represents a concrete step in our effort to provide effective and environmentally friendly solutions that increase soil fertility and agricultural yields. By producing PGPR independently, farmers not only reduce production costs but also increase the sustainability of their agriculture. The results of this training show that the use of PGPR can improve soil fertility and have a positive impact on the farmer's economy.
