Abstract
This study explores the implementation of Kahoot, a game-based learning platform, in the teaching and learning of English. With the growing integration of technology in education, Kahoot offers an engaging alternative to traditional teaching methods, promoting active participation among students. The research highlights the benefits of using Kahoot, including enhanced student engagement, immediate feedback, and support for diverse learning styles. It also emphasizes the platform's role in fostering social interaction and collaboration among peers, which are crucial for language acquisition. Through a library research methodology, the study synthesizes existing literature on the effectiveness of Kahoot in language education, providing insights into its potential as a formative assessment tool.
