Author Guidelines

Aplinesia publishes high quality research articles that contribute significantly to theoretical development, methodological advancement, and applied practice within its scope. Authors are required to carefully follow these guidelines prior to submission.

1. Types of Manuscripts

  • Original Research Articles
  • Systematic Literature Reviews
  • Conceptual Papers
  • Applied Research Reports

All submissions must demonstrate originality, academic rigor, and clear contribution to the field.

2. Manuscript Structure

Title
Clear, concise, and informative. Maximum 20 words.

Abstract
150–250 words summarizing purpose, methodology, findings, and implications. Written in English.

Keywords
3–5 keywords separated by semicolons.

Introduction
Background, research gap, objectives, and contribution.

Literature Review
Theoretical framework and recent scholarly references.

Method
Research design, participants, instruments, procedures, and data analysis.

Results
Clear presentation of findings supported by tables or figures where appropriate.

Discussion
Interpretation of findings, theoretical implications, and comparison with prior studies.

Conclusion
Summary of key findings and recommendations.

References
Minimum 15 scholarly sources. At least 70 percent from the last 10 years. DOI required where available.

3. Formatting Requirements

  • Manuscript length: 5,000–8,000 words
  • Microsoft Word format only
  • Single spaced
  • 12 point Times New Roman
  • A4 paper size
  • Margins 2.5 cm on all sides
  • Tables and figures embedded within text
  • APA 7th edition citation style

4. Publication Ethics

Aplinesia follows strict publication ethics aligned with international standards.

  • Manuscripts must be original and not under review elsewhere
  • All authors must approve submission
  • Conflict of interest must be declared
  • Funding sources must be disclosed
  • Ethical approval required for studies involving human participants
  • Data fabrication, falsification, and plagiarism are strictly prohibited

5. Plagiarism and Similarity Policy

All submissions must undergo plagiarism screening prior to submission.

  • Similarity index must not exceed journal threshold
  • Similarity report must be uploaded as supplementary file
  • Excessive similarity will result in desk rejection

6. Artificial Intelligence Usage Policy

If generative AI tools were used during manuscript preparation, authors must disclose:

  • Name of AI tool
  • Purpose of use
  • Confirmation that authors take full responsibility for content accuracy
AI tools may not be listed as authors.

7. Data Availability Statement

Authors must include a Data Availability Statement indicating whether research data are:

  • Publicly available with repository link
  • Available upon reasonable request
  • Not publicly available due to ethical or legal restrictions

8. Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo double blind peer review.

  • Initial editorial screening
  • Assignment to at least two reviewers
  • Review decision: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, Reject
  • Estimated review time: 4–8 weeks
Authors must submit a detailed response letter for all revisions.

9. Article Processing Charge

APC is applied only after acceptance. Detailed information is available on the journal website.

10. Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal first publication rights. Published articles are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0) .

Authors may share and adapt the published work with proper attribution.
