Pengaruh Ukuran Granul dan Kadar Solutio Gelatin Sebagai Bahan Pengikat Terhadap Migrasi Vitamin B6

Bahan obat yang larut dalam air (vitamin B6) dapat mengalami migrasi selama pengeringan dalam granulasi basah. Migrasi obat dipengaruhi oleh suhu pengeringan, ukuran bahan pengisi, kekentalan bahan pengikat, dan cara pengeringan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh ukuran granul dan kadar bahan pengikat solutio gelatin terhadap migrasi vitamin B6. Dalam penelitian ini vitamin B6 dibuat dalam 3 formula yaitu: F1 (5% solutio gelatin), F2 (7,5% solutio gelatin), F3 (10% solutio gelatin). Kemudian masing-masing formula diayak dengan ayakan No. 10, 12, dan 16 mesh. Granul dimasukan dalam sel pengering 4 lapis, dikeringkan pada suhu 40-60oC selama 4 jam. Ditentukan koefisien migrasi pada tiap formula. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa migrasi vitamin B6 dipengaruhi oleh ukuran granul dan konsentrasi bahan pengikat solutio gelatin. Semakin kecil ukuran granul maka migrasi vitamin B6 semakin kecil dan semakin besar kadar bahan pengikat solutio gelatin maka migrasi vitamin B6 semakin kecil.Downloads
