Setiap negara umumnya mencoba dan memiliki pendekatan alternatif untuk membangun negara yang sejahtera. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan adalah melalui percepatan pembangunan ekonomi. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk membahas teori-teori dalam studi pembangunan ekonomi yang dijelaskan oleh beberapa tokoh pemikir ekonomi dan dianggap berpengaruh. Secara normatif, teori-teori tersebut masih dibutuhkan sebagai hazanah ilmiah di bidang ilmu ekonomi pembangunan. Metode dalam artikel ini berbasis pada data kepustakaan yang bersumber pada buku-buku, jurnal, atau surat kabar media yang dianggap layak dijadikan sebagai sumber ilmiah. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan membaca, menelaah, dan menganalisis berbagai literatur yang ada. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat banyak faktor persamaan yang dikemukakan oleh para peneliti dalam mempengaruhi pembangunan ekonomi suatu wilayah/negara. Investasi, kondisi politik, dan sumber daya manusia merupakan faktor yang paling banyak dalam mempengaruhi pembangunan ekonomi. Sedangkan infrastruktur adalah faktor pembangunan ekonomi yang paling sedikit yang dikemukakan oleh para peneliti. Infrastruktur mempunyai pengaruh terhadap pembangunan ekonomi bagi negara-negara tropis seperti Indonesia.Downloads
